Erika Kirk, wife of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk made her first public address since her husband's assassination on Friday evening and promised to continue the political movement her husband started.
Speaking from the same studio that was used by Charlie, Erika addressed an online audience of around 200,000 viewers just after 8:25pm.
During an emotional speech she called on Kirk's followers to become members of a church before making a vow to her late husband.
'Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,' she said. 'I promise I'll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.'
Her address came only hours after the man alleged to have shot and killed her husband was identified and arrested.
Wiping away tears, Erika Kirk thanked President Donald Trump and his family for their support after the shooting.
'Mr President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too. He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well, as did he for you,' she said.
She also thanked Vice-President JD Vance and his wife Usha for 'bringing him home'

Charlie Kirk’s devastated wife Erika mostly holds it together as she gives passionate tribute to MAGA star and makes defiant promise

Impressive mom, wife & lady
I think she CAN do it
I joined up tonight after hearing her.
Thank you for the link. What a speech.
The Lessons of History are clear: After Jesus was crucified, his followers saw it as the ultimate commitment and Christian movements spread far and fast. Gandi, JFK, MLK Jr., and even Abraham Lincoln’s death did not end anything, those tragic events served to catalyze opinion, action, and political support for the issues they championed.
Brave and strong as she is, Erika will not be alone in this commitment - or I should say, this promise. A million new Charlie Kirks were born on Sept. 10, 2025.
She is a good woman. May God fire her life with purpose.
Beautiful and heartfelt poem.
I think Charlie’s dad is still alive. I read that he showed up at one of the vigils and broke down crying, saying, “Bring my son back.”
Stay tuned....
I read that elsewhere and did the same.
