You’ll have to assess your own relative risk of contracting any of the bacterial infections Prevnar is supposed to prevent against the potential harms of the vaccine. The typical treatment for bacterial infections is antibiotics, so your history with antibiotics may also be a factor since immune systems with antibiotic fatigue can become less responsive to them. In that case, a vaccine might be a better option than trying to treat such an infection after the fact.
One consideration that always makes me tilt my head in puzzlement is pharma’s statement for most vaccines that people who have a weak immune system might not be ideal candidates for their vaccine. However, if you have a strong immune system, you can probably fight the infection without a vaccine. It would appear from the vaccine-makers’ own statements that anyone with any kind of immune system shouldn’t take their vaccines.

Police Scotland has charged a man and a woman in connection to the incident which saw a 12-year-old-girl charged for allegedly brandishing an axe and a machete.
The school girl was said to have been in possession of the weapons when she was walking around a street in the Lochee area of Dundee last month.
It comes after footage of the alleged incident circulated online and was shared by X Supremo Elon Musk and Far Right campaigner Tommy Robinson.
Even First Minister John Swinney was forced to step in to call for users to stop spreading misinformation around the case. Upset social media users even set up a fundraiser for the girl’s family that raised more than £70,000 with a target of £250,000.
The force has confirmed today to charge a man and a woman in connection with the events on August 23.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following extensive enquiries, a man and a woman have been charged in connection with an incident in St Ann Lane in Dundee, which was reported around 7.40pm on Saturday, 23 August 2025.

Blasted, burning, yeah, but still in one piece after the flash since it seems to have coasted a ways in one piece and had a fire going. There must be some leftover stuff to check out and at least a few floating carki to identify. From wot I can see in the published pics the blast must have been overhead, not contact, so the hull stayed in one piece, more or less. At a minimum somebody had to go sink it so’s any leftover dope didn’t coast to shore. It would be good to hear the end of the story at least so we don’t get left with the conclusion that our guys did a halffast job?
