"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

The problem wasn’t necessarily that she was a female engineer - it was that she was, at a minimum, incompetent, and quite possibly deliberately cut corners to get the winning bid (although with today’s quota system, she was almost guaranteed the winning bid anyway in many cases).
There are women engineers that are pretty sharp, but when you get one that relies on her gender instead of her engineering prowess to “get the job”, then you can rest assured that the work will be substandard.

The second death after almost everyone in my circle took the jabs was a golfer who died very quickly of eye cancer. I had never heard of eye cancer before she told us about hers and she was gone within 10 months. The first death was a pro shop attendant who just didn’t wake up one morning. Kids and grandkids already did buy me an Introductory Flight Lesson...neat little Cessna, handled everything but the throttle/mixture from takeoff through landing. (OK landing although I recall calling myself an idiot for a tad bit of overcontrol during the first part of transition to final.)
Lots of fun but didn't go any further toward a Private License; too expensive and after the stuff I'd worked around in Navair I felt like I could have reached out the window and pulled a wing off that 172.
About that "just remember to only eat bananas before the flight", xone.....I got rides in all sorts of stuff over the years and never, ever cleaned up a cockpit no matter what I'd eaten before the flight. That includes a few times when the IP may very well have been trying to make me barf. (All in the spirit of good fun.....)

1) James (Scrotumtoter) Comey has been indicted on counts of perjury and obstruction. According to Politico, Washington is “stunned.” Don’t know why unless they thought Trump and Pam Bondi didn’t mean what they said. Jeff Childers says this is just the beginning of a “whirlwind.” For example, now we learned that the DOJ is investigating George Soros. Again, Childers notes that it is “stunning” how fast Trump’s DOJ is: half a dozen attorneys are already on it.
This report, for example, said Soros gave $80m to groups tied to violence. The Soros Foundation insists “we don’t fund terrorism,” but really meant “We fund terrorISTS.” The New York Slimes is afraid. Childers argues that what we have seen for seven months was merely the “consolidation phase” of Trump’s assault, and that we are now entering the “storm phase.”
2) Increasingly it is looking like Patriot Day (J6) was an op designed to incite violence so the gubment could arrest MAGA supporters. There were 275 undercover FBI agents in the crowd. Was Ray Epps among ‘em?
3) Talk about having DemoKKKrats by the short braided hairs: they seem unable to prevent themselves from falling into a gubment shutdown that Trump would relish. Still driven by their whackadoodle base, DemoKKKrats are about to take a suicide pill. Trump, meanwhile, won’t even talk to these manurepads.
4) DOJ has sued NH for its voter rolls, which are supposed to be available after two years.
5) A lip reader caught a conversation between President Trump and Melania over the escalator issue at the UN and was lambasting the UN over keeping her safe. She said, “you have to stay safe” and Trump replied that he would not be intimidated. I do love this man.
6) Secretary of War, the Punisher, Pete Hegseth, will convene a large confab of military officers at a VA summit. Some hypothesis he will read them the riot act of what to say in public, of criticising the administration, and of purging woke out of their ranks.
7) FBI director Kash Patel just fired every FBI agent photographed taking a knee in the George Floyd manure pile protests. This means more to me than a high-profile arrest. This affects the whole agency. And more winning as James Scrotumtoter Comey’s son-in-law resigned from DOJ. How many of these evil scrotumtoters were there in DOJ? His useless daughter already resigned.
8) Numbers, numbers. Seth Keshel reports that in Maricopa Co., AZ Rs have gained net 200,000 since Charlie Kirk’s shooting, and in Kollyfornia, Rs have net gained a whopping 48,000.
9) More winning as the Supes allow Trump’s $4.3 “pocket recission” to stand.
10) Trump ordered all Amelia Earhart files released.
11) GE flew a rocket ramjet engine with no moving parts. Well, SCRAMJETS have no moving parts either. Airflow does all the work.
12) Bill Gates has shut off all funding of far-left Arabella Advisors.
