WWE legend Lex Luger walks by himself in a new video.
The DDP Yoga account posted a video on, X formerly known as Twitter, showing Lex Luger walking on his own for the first time in years. In the clip, he moves around a kitchen island while trainer, Autumn Swansen, watches closely. As he takes his steps, Swansen is seen encouraging him saying, “Lex, you’re literally walking unsupported right now.”

People always say professional wrestling is fake, but it seems there are physical consequences in that industry.
The storylines are fake, but the athleticism is real.
DDP Yoga seems very good if you have mobility issues. I would recommend everybody look into it, at least, if you suffer from mobility.
I was a big wrestling fan when I was a kid (and even as I got older) , it’s a real shame how a lot of these guys ended up.
Two titanium hips and a good bit of rehab later, and I was back on the courts. Not playing competitively, but just enjoying volleying against the wall. Good enough!
My goal used to be to have the hardest serve, rush the net, and destroy my opponent. My new goal is to be able to serve and knock over solo cups on the other side of the net. Apparently that's a MUCH more difficult goal to achieve.
I grew up watching wrestling, boxing, hockey, ice racing, football, baseball, golf, ANYTHING that let me lean against grandfather’s knees. Never thought, in those days, of the toll it was taking on the participants.
Kudos to you for bravery above and beyond! Total inspiration.
Huge fan of Sam Houston Coloseum wrestling as a child so I was surprised when he came on the scene and I recognized him and made the connection with the other two.
👍
Miss Elizabeth is unavailable for comments.
I was about to say this. He was part of the reason the lovely miss elizabeth died.
Yep. Luger was into some bad stuff, and she died from it. Hopefully he has repented.
Now there is a name from my distant past! I trained at Ricky Steamboat’s in the 1980s, and while wrestling didn’t excite me, I met quite a few of the better knowns while training there. Rick and I were in his parking lot one Saturday morning when Lex Luger pulled up in (I believe) a Ford Bronco. Rick had a beef with him and went straight to him in the parking lot. Believe it or don’t, Luger backed water and apologized to the Dragon!
Many years later I got saved and did prison ministry with Tully and “The Ring of Truth”. It certainly is a small world.
