My beautiful friend in SF had a daughter who was big and tall and not even pretty or cute. A Harley riding lesbian who was an alcoholic. Her name was Lynn, I went down to the lesbian sectionof town and waited an hour for her to show up for lunch we had planned. I didn’t talk very much about her drinking, just said there was such a thing as a lesbian AA group.
She never had another drink.
When she was in her 30s and after her monther died, she became a Trannie. I’m OK with that.
Definittely not OK with kids in grade school or high school “transitioning”. Their parents belong in jail.

Perfectly sensible approach to things. Agree completely with you. Adults have free will and no matter how stupid their decisions, as long as they affect themselves, that’s their business and you can only hope they end up not hurting themselves and being happier. And if they aren’t, you can hope they make another change and it’s a better one.
Anyone who encourages a child to follow a trend that will lead them into a mentally ill position as they’re growing and developing should be in jail and the children placed under good person influence.
One of my lesbian friends was also an alcoholic. She kept it controlled to after school hours and she was a most brilliant teacher in an inner city school. Broke my heart but it never took her over before her cancer took her away. The bravest and best-hearted woman and totally adored by her classes. Taught them Shakespeare in a way that they enjoyed. They protected her in the school neighborhood and she was one of the characters in a stage play written by one of her fellow teachers. There are so many good people whose loss should cause the sky to darken and the world to rage. She was one.

The question is why. Other countries are reluctant to move beyond talking therapy, because other procedures are considered experimental and lack quality controls. They find no traditional scientific information to justify treatments driven by the cultural wars in the U.S. The Democrat Party takes a leading role in these cultural wars allying legacy media, scientists, teachers, counselors, medical professionals, and pharmaceutical companies into a critical mass sabotaging or ignoring accurate scientific study.

Almost all America’s medical authorities support gender-affirming care. But those in Britain, Finland, France, Norway and Sweden, while supporting talking therapy as a first step, have misgivings about the pharmacological and surgical elements of the treatment. The effectiveness and side-effects of the most common treatments are not well understood.
