6 severed heads found by side of the road along with chilling message in one of Mexico’s safest regions

Six severed heads have been found by the side of the road in Mexico alongside a chilling message in an area where such brutal violence is rare, Mexican prosecutors said.

The male remains were discovered by a road linking the central Mexican states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

Alongside the heads was a pamphlet blaming the savage killings on the settling of scores between rival gangs, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Both Puebla and Tlaxcala are usually considered among the safest states in Mexico to visit, with the US State Department designating them a Level 2 travel advisory, the second-lowest warning.

However, the State Department notes that both states face issues with criminal gangs that move drugs, fuel and humans through central Mexico.

Extreme violence — including decapitation — is usually concentrated around northern and western states along the Pacific coast.

Did you ever hear George Noori’s account of leaving a Mexican resort? It was terrifying. His limo driver was coordinating with someone on the phone and he understood snippets of what the driver was saying. He got out of it some how, I really don’t remember the details. All I do remember is thinking I will never go to Mexico under any circumstances after hearing what happened to him.

You could fly out of Chicago at 6am and arrive in Aculpulco by Noon. I went there around the late 1990s. Very nice. They loved Americans.

NOW? Hell no.

I visited my friend in MAzatlan this year nice, the people are friendly, but even there they have the cartels.

In short, Mexico is pure sh*t hole.

Yep. Crime and violence and lots and lots of MONEY have really destroyed a beautiful country.

I’m glad I have the fond memories of Sunny Mexico, though.

1978 Memory: Vicki and I both had the SAME swim suit! Neither of us coordinated that or knew it until it was time to go to the beach. The locals called us, ‘The American Twins.’

1978 Memory: Ignacio Rodrigues Ramarez. Man, was he handsome - I wonder whatever happened to him? Local Acapulco kid. He was just out of High School as were we. I hope all of his dreams came true! (He may have ended up as a Polo Model. They used to have one named ‘Nacho’ who would have been the right age!)

1978 Memory: Again, on the beach, we were approached by an older woman who was looking for ‘companions’ for her son. She took us to dinner and on a cruise of Acapulco Bay at night. Just stunning! Her son was as GAY as could be; Mom was oblivious. He was not the LEAST bit interested in either one of us, LOL! (We figured this our beforehand, but why pass up a lovely evening?)

1978 Memory: The food! So delicious. But we were dumb and drank Cocoa Colas with ICE in them and then we were both ‘out of commission’ for two days. That was not fun, but it was a valuable lesson about eating/drinking local. At least we had our own bathroom, LOL!

1987 Memory: Our ‘home away from home’ for 2 weeks was on a CLIFF overlooking Acapulco Bay. You had to take a tram car to get up to our rooms. I will never forget that view! And, we also went to see John Wayne’s Acapulco home. Absolutely lovely. :)

1983, drove to Abilene, TX, stayed the night, drove to San Antonio, stayed the night there and then drove to Brownsville/Matamoros, MX with my brother. Walked into the heart of the city for two days. It was late September, the ocean was warm. The people there appeared to like the fact that Mike and I were. Thanks for making me recall a memory.
