Fish, shrimp, lobster, crab and so many other seafood seems to come from Indonesia, Thailand, and other southeast Asian countries. Meanwhile, we live less than 3 hours away from the Pacific Ocean. Home to some of the most bountiful seafood in the world but you go to a market in the harbors and the prices are outlandish.

I won’t buy ANY Great Value food from Wal-Mart.
There are a few name brand items they sell that are indeed cheaper than anywhere else I have found but everything else and all their meat, dairy, and produce is off limits.

I made some crab soup, which i love, about 2 years ago. On reading the can i saw it was from indonesia. I dumped the soup out. No longer buy crab meat.
