Female cops in England went undercover as joggers, wearing tight-fitting clothes in a bid to elicit catcalls — and then arrested some of the men who hit on them, according to a report.
The Surrey Police Department created a trial task force, which lasted about a month, and led to 18 arrests for offenses like sexual assault, harassment, and theft, The Telegraph reported.
“We get catcalled. We get honked at. People slow down just to stare — or lean out the window to shout something. It’s so common, but it’s harassment and it needs to be recognized as such,” Officer Abby Hayward told the Telegraph.
“This behavior is either a precursor to something more serious — or it’s ignorance and it’s fixable,”

Those two girls must be the most attractive cops in England.
This is more than absurd, it is truly Orwellian and oppressive of men, and a farther confirmation that in modern times the female and government are parts of an organism.
But....and also.....
By now there have probably been enough arrests that someone has noticed racism in the arrests made, I don’t see how the race people will let this go on for long.
George Orwell warned French visitors to England to be careful in the public loo not to catch the eye of an undercover police inspector. Back in the day detectives (nice work, Sherlock) would lurk in public toilets, and if they thought anyone was there to socialize, would arrest them.
There actually was a problem in Massachusetts with a public toilet on State Route 3, that was used as a trysting place by that set (only the men’s room). It got to the point that a family with young boys couldn’t use the place. In Gary Studds old district, of course.
This was a set up for arrests.
Apparently entrapment is not a thing across the pond.

It’s certainly entrapment in this country.
I have an idea for a “jogging outfit”, try shorts and a t-shirt, works fine for me. What is the purpose of the crotch-exposing transparent tights? To get stared at and then shame the men whose brains have be wired to chase women for 50 million years.
There was an article on entrapment as a tool for the police on this forum recently. I was pretty much middle of the road on the issue, as it is used in this case I would say I am against entrapment.
