Those with a sharp tongue or rapier wit should start worrying.

Look...look, smarty pants, the sixteen-ton weight is just one way of dealing with the raspberry killer. There are millions of others!

Don’t get caught running with those!

Be wary of those small machetes that are easy to hide and can be mistaken for pocket knives or kitchen knives.

,,, I bet it’s not long now until the best boutique/crafted machetes will be turned out of sheds and garages in Aussie. Second bet - New Zealand will find a way to follow the State of Victoria.

A machete makes a poor weapon, but they’re easily constructed.
So, the ban makes very little sense. It’s just some politicians who want to be seen as “doing something” to protect the public.

I might build one with a 10-foot blade.
Stick that in their box.

This is 100% aimed at the turd world violent trash that Canberra has dumped in the city of Melbourne. BUT, since they can’t admit that it is African and ME gangs terrorizing the city they have to ban the entire state from owning a common garden tool.

If they offer machete buybacks, I have a cheap one from Walmart that won’t hold an edge. Which reminds me, I need to pick up a new chainsaw.

Due to proximity I'd wager there's a lot of WWII-era katana swords about. I'd also bet the government is as scared of the old vets possessing them as they are the muzzies they bend over to appease.
