Health insurance is regulated by the states. And you should hope it stays that way.

If you live in a "blue state" they probably have commies trying to kill the health insurance industry to make socialized medicine look good.

Maybe look at "medi-share" or get an HSA...or both.

Don’t forget also, it’s NOT insurance. Insurance is a set, reasonable rate/fee for a low probability and/or unforeseen event that would otherwise be catastrophic to the family unit (and larger groups per group agreement).

The Feds could allow/promote "Healthcare Associations" and let organizations have group plans. Additionally, they should be able to buy across state lines, to shop for better premium rates.
