Today I was talking to a representative of an organization I audit. I did not remember this, but apparently we had quite the conversation about Covid a couple years ago at the last audit.
She brought the topic up because she is still so upset about the early Covid years. I’m glad I am not the only one. She said I am one of the few people she has ever been able to talk to about this topic.
She tells me that she has two kids, both adult kids with their own kids.
The daughter is an ER nurse of some 15 years who had to get the first round of vaxxes or be fired. She is a single mom.
She didn’t want to get the vaxx and tried for a religious and medical exemption. She worries every day about what the shot may have done to her, but so far she hasn’t had any issues. Fortunately, the hospital did not require boosters. The daughter believes this is due to the health issues employees were having.
Daughter told mom that under no circumstances are mom and dad to get the vaxx. They listened to her.
Son has had every Covid vaxx he can get his hands on and vaxxes his kids. Won’t let parents see kids indoors. Is after parents all the time to get the vaxx. Thinks his sister is a crazy conspiracy theoriest.
Son is an accountant.
Sister has told brother about her experience as ER nurse the ten or so years before Covid and now. Has told him that she never saw cases of x or y before, never saw z in a person under 40, only saw cases of j twice before 2021, etc. Since 2021, she has seen 8x and 10y, 5z, 15j, etc.
She has explained to him all about the substances (lipid nano particles, etc.) in the mRNA vax and the mechanism of action as to how and why the vaxx causes these conditions. She has sent him research articles from journals.
But no, sis is wrong. If what she says is true, the news would have covered it.

From my short time as a trainer, I found that trying to be too concise often leaves an audience with little understanding of the subject matter at hand.
On the other hand, going on and on tends to bore them. Thus the art of teaching - really teaching - with interaction from the class and much discussion is often called for. Especially when your audience are a bunch of transmission system operations personnel that all have a bit of an ego (comes with the territory) and are mostly above average in intelligence.

Honestly, as a student, I used to prefer, much prefer hard copy of the material. That is, until they started dumbing down the tests and doing them “as a group” so that everyone got an A. That started about 2 or 3 years ago, and it’s decidedly a bad idea if you want a top notch team. Kind of like a football coach and trainer skipping all the hard, complicated plays so that everyone can play.
