The Temple Institute has failed to breed a qualified red heifer to sacrifice in preparation for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, despite 2 decades of extensive breeding attempts in both Israel and the United States.
In a Facebook post, the Israeli organization acknowledged that “all our efforts so far have been frustrated by the appearance of more than one non-red hair on all our potential candidates.” This disqualification applies even to the red heifers flown in from Texas, all of which have failed to meet the strict halachic standards.
According to Jewish law, the red heifer must be sacrificed on the Mount of Olives, overlooking the Temple Mount. The site is chosen because it lies directly east of the Temple, allowing the priest performing the ritual to see into the area of the Holy of Holies. The ashes of the red heifer are used for ritual purification, which is considered a necessary step before the rebuilding of the Temple and resumption of sacrificial worship. Orthodox Jews associated with the Temple Institute believe that the Moshiach, their messiah, shall arrive after the rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem and the resumption of sacrifices.

Speaking of a lack of rain, this has been the wettest summer I can remember in southern Alberta. I think it has rained most days of July and so far into August. My feet are starting to web.
So they’re using measles to keep us scared instead.

LOL, some people are so creative.
You’ve had that much rain? That was our April and May. And since then, we’ve had nothing but hot sunny days. As much as I love hot sunny days, we really need rain.
Raining like heck right now. Been raining most of the week.
Gives me a nice excuse to stay home and do nothing. Except I don’t…

SO glad I left Minnesota.
Maybe the idea is to keep the populace from moving around and limiting them to the cities, but the facist leaders say no more "Couriers du Bois for you Canada!
Hope you resolve things and can start looking south to warm places. (Or move to western Canada and hope they declare themselves a new separate country!)
Didn’t they read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury as part of their indoctrination? Auto-ignition is a real thing, and 100 degrees Fahrenheit is nowhere near it for trees and leaves.
Use their own propaganda against them.
Hmmm. Thought they reported that they had the red heifers a few years ago.
bitt!!
Not much haze but I can smell the smoke this morning.
Thanks for bringing that up. The IT thing you point out is real.
I was listening to Alexander on The Duran.
That IT issue was an example given, a question as to IT being tarrifed, if it might have helped reduce the more severe tarrifs on Agriculture.
IT did escape tarrifs already, I think, but under the—what is it called(?)— H1, or H1-B1 foreign worker program?
Didn’t they tweak that, with exceptions for certain specialties?
Anyway, the point was around US concerns so great around de-dollarization, that antagonizing a swath of global economies may risk bringing more BRICS countries together.
India is lost. Would others follow?
The question seemed to be important from India’s pov— a reasonable one, not critical.
Is it bad that I was OK with it either way?
