From what I’ve read elsewhere the real reason is prices - they’ve gone through the roof.

I think the real reason is that the US aid money dried up for all the people getting it and we’re blowing in Vegas casinos.

It is often referred to as “Supply and Demand”.

Costs too much? Obtained elsewhere for less?

Sports books are universally available online

There are casinos on Indian reservations all over the nation.

Maybe there is a fixed proportion of individuals who enjoy gambling. And maybe their needs are already being met without all of the Las Vegas “overhead”.

IDK, but “supply and demand” is a pretty foundational economic principle.
