Iirc, they said there were thousands of hours of tapes that were being reviewed and scrubbed because they amounted to kiddie porn.

When you tell people to “move on” and ignore stuff—the natural reaction of many folks is to dig much deeper into each nook and cranny to try to figure out what secrets might be being hidden.
