People who do that should be charged with attempted murder.
It was a self-defense SWATting.
Lowlifes, who have no concept of how this diverts resources from real emergencies, costs a lot of money, etc.
Just lowlifes.
The repercussions should be severe, but I assume there are none, as it keeps going on and on.
Does anyone know how many doors and door frames have been ruined on these?
Mr. Metcalf should sue until he owns a lumber company the size of Home Depot or Lowes.
Childish and stupid behavior from childish and stupid people.
“the father of Austin Metcalf was ‘swatted’ by fans of Karmelo Anthony for the 6th time!”

Why?
Aren’t there legal consequences for false swatting?
I couldn’t agree more.
How many times does someone have to get swatted before the cops treat the next call as a potential fraudulent swatting, vs a LIFE OR DEATH WE HAVE TO BREAK IN AND SHOOT ANYTHING THAT MOVES!!! situation?
You would think the local police would get a clue after the first incident.
Yes, and there also should be no distinction for “attempted” murder, just “murder.” If your intention is to kill someone and you take direct action to carry it out, whether you succeed or not should not matter. The punishment for the crime should be conditioned on the threat you present to others, and you shouldn’t get special leniency just because you got unlucky and your victim survived.
We used to execute rapists, it’s ridiculous that we go easy on some murderers for no reason other than that their victim got lucky and lived. As an example, every piece of crap little gangbanger that goes around indiscriminately shooting into homes should go away for life (or preferably be executed), regardless of whether they succeeded in killing anyone. The threat they present to society is the same either way.
Exactly...cant the cops communicate with the family befote showing up????
Moulies gonna moule
Ou would think the idiot cops would call the family.
Unless the local police are in on it or are using the oppportunities for SWAT training.
And the SWAT team(s) just don’t get it.
“Aren’t there legal consequences for false swatting?”
Yea but you have to catch them first. Throw away cell phones and computers with VPNs make it hard to catch some of them.
the story I posted about Sheriff Judd catching those two teens? Those kids were too stupid to used something like that and got traced.
Looks like the Metcalf family could have used all that GoFundMe money to get themselves a house in a gated community.
