The REAL Superman Movie is on now. An American clasic, bo loud story, no cgi. Just a pure American Clasic. Never been topped.
Loved all the Supermen in the past - movies and TV. Won’t watch the new one.
Superman - I Wonder - ABBA - from the first movie

Supermen - Superman - Five For Fighting - Mixed Superman shows - streaming off my website

....and who, disguised as Clark Kent, (who spoke like Superman, was never in the same place as Superman, and looked like Superman with glasses)...fights a never ending...
Memories. I loved that show.
Me not speak grut, lol 😂
Story, not cgi.
All others?
Good actors (some, anyhoo) but pretenders.
That’s interesting. Hubby and I wanted to watch it, so I looked through our DVD collection, and lo and behold, there it was! We just finished watching it!
Great movie. The music is awesome. Thanks, John Williams!
Watch it with the Superman 2 Donner cut.
‘Spider-Man is THE best superhero. Stan Lee put it best. “ He’s the one who’s most like me - nothing ever turns out 100 percent OK; he’s got a lot of problems, and he does things wrong, and I can relate to that.”’
I’m with you on this one.
I will. That’s on another disc. Apparently I found a five disk set at a great price a few years ago.
If I do see the new one, I’ll wait to rent it on DVD.
Noel was a lezbeeyon.
Roger that 👍
Something wrong with you dude! If you thought it was a love story, you obviously were not too into Hulk, Spiderman, etc., as Marvel had love stories interwoven with the action. And if you were not blown away when Superman introduced himself to the world - well, like I said - something is wrong with you.
**1978 began a new era.
First GPS satellite launched.
First episode of Dallas airs **
A great year!! (Despite the mess Jimmah and crew were making)
1978 began with me single but smitten, by March engaged, by mid-August married, by December, very much loving the married life (next month will be 47 years, oh yeah!!)
One of the things my bride cured me of: watching make-believe stuff, including ‘superhero’ movies.
Ha! That why I tell people the only realistic Batman was the 60s tv show, hilariously absurd, and intended to be (for adults anyway).
“Spider-Man is THE best superhero.”
I know you guys all love Spider-Man best, and I get that. But to me, Robert Downey, Jr. as Ironman is the bestest!
That being said, did you see Spider-Man into the Spiderverse? I loved, loved, loved that movie. Some might accuse it of wokeness, but I didn’t really see it that way. What I admired most about it was, it had what could have been a very confusing plot (and I hate that, esp. in kids’ movies - see Frozen for a good, that is bad, example) and it was not at all.
Extremely well done picture!
IIRC Jack Larson (Jimmy Olsen) was a homosexual. That's much of the performing arts.
As an 8-year old, I just loved the program.
And hottie love interest Lois Lane…
The left was smaller then. Democrats were mostly Liberals.
