Liberal Los Angeles residents were outraged as ICE agents with bulletproof vests spent the Fourth of July holiday continuing to carry out Donald Trump's mass deportation promise.
One video showed a raid at a West Hollywood car wash, showing a man who alleged to have been in the country for 30 years.
His son, who had been alerted to the raid, was left asking: 'Why? My dad is not a criminal. He was working at a car wash on 4th of July.'
'My dad came to work today on the Fourth of July. He loves his country. We've been here as long as I've been around,' the son, who wouldn't identify himself, added.
The owner of the Santa Palm Car Wash was reportedly in the bathroom when the raid happened and enraged that he had not been informed.
They told NBC Los Angeles that they arrested several people who have worked at the car wash for decades in the span of ten minutes at around 11am.
Another employee was seen being tackled in a nearby alley.
The city of West Hollywood issued a statement criticizing federal officials for the holiday raid.

Right! Didn’t see anything in our constitution about not arresting illegals at a car wash, especially on the Fourth of July!!!
blasted?
only a far leftist rag media would write a story like this...
blasted? for what, praytell?
it sounds like these civil servants were doing their jobs successfully (and they were working on the holiday, too).
Why aren’t they arresting the owner for hiring illegals
THE CONCEPT OF “ADVANCE WARNING” MAKES ME REALLY LAUGH.
EMPLOYERS ARE TOLD EVERY WAY TO BE SURE & HIRE ONLY LEGAL APPLICANTS
An employer cannot question the validity of a fake or stolen Social Security number without finding himself on the wrong end of a DOJ lawsuit.
Was he collecting benefits he wasn’t entitled to? Did he have multiple identities? Was he or his family members double or triple-dipping the handouts? Was he harboring criminals, such as drug dealers? Was he himself a criminal (in addition to being illegal for 30 years?)
Article doesn’t say.
True, in the “protests” didn’t see many American Flags, at least ones that were not being burned, but plenty of people waiving Mexican flags, yes they love their country 😎
So, you saw the movie.
Funny, the article doesn’t mention if the people arrested were citizens or if they were here legally.
Is July 4 a free day for criminals?
Deport yourself in protest.
Oh, yea great idea. We want to have these guys working for cash, getting $1000 a month in food credit from Snap and sending the money home to Honduras. Oh, and having the kids speaking whatever language at the local school so our kids cant learn anything and treating them at the hospital. Putting the moral issues aside they are probably more expensive than gang members who provide commerce in drugs and ho’s. To me any invader who is waving a flag other than the Stars and Stripes and violating our border is a terrorist.
Well, those cars never seem to stop coming
(Work and work)
Keep those rags and machines humming
(Work and work)
My fingers to the bone
(Work)
Can’t wait ‘til it’s time to go home
Kid this is not your dad’s country
They’ve had plenty of time to self deport......
Guess the libs will have to drive their EVs to Mexico to get them washed.
Working at the car wash, baby.
The illegal immigrants said work to our car.Washes recalled, West Virginia’s, west virginia is still on a work in the DC metro area back in the 60s.And then they would return home to west virginia on weekends.
Me? Industrial kitchen labor, ditch work, jackhammer technician, paper delivery, lawns car wash work, janitorial... never worked fast food though. I didn’t like lawn work much... too hot. I was in a pretty good rock band, but the hours were terrible.
Yeah, not a lot of solid ground on which to stand, with that argument.
Then again it’s really just an expression of emotion/feelings. Not that emotions or feelings are unimportant, since they do factor fairly heavily into politics.
The argument being that raids like these are impolitic.
