Carnival Cruise Lines has grown tired of being the "2:00 AM Waffle House of the Seas."
No more chairs at the seafood buffet.
What the hell does that headline mean? I don’t speak jive.
Its a stretch for any of these to be called racist. Didndunuffins finding more reasons to be offended.
There was an article on the FR some time back about hotels in Africa that won’t accept American blacks as guests. Apparently the reputation gets around.
Basic rule: “We expect our customers to act like civilized humans.”
Response: “Why you so racist?”
Anybody who causes problems get banned. It may take awhile to filter people out, but they will be filtered out.
Not a cruise fan, but isn’t it a shame that this has to be delineated?
This is a problem with virtue. Without virtue there is no civil order. Without religion, there can be no virtue. This problem is a symptom of a godless society.
Never take a cruise on the Carnival Narcissus.
The Walmart of cruise lines
We recently took a Celebrity cruise out of Port Canaveral. We were a little worried at the port we saw large numbers of 13ers congregating. Fortunately, the vast majority of them got on the Carnival ship docked next to us. Our cruise was 98% non-diverse, an older crowd, and it was very nice!
Carnival Cruise Lines has grown tired of being the “Section 8 of the Seas.”
Aww, Gee Whiz,
Yo! Ah’m Ju’lia, yo cruise director. Welcome to another edition of Thunderboat,” Dis be Thunderboat, death is listening and will take the first man that scream”. Good luck y’all.
In America it is impossible to have a conversation about anything without someone self-victimizing because they are black, latino, female, homo, Jewish, Muslim, old, young, poor, single mother...
Sorry if you’re Catholic, white, male, hetero, or a vet, you don’t get to be offended.
It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about Crayons, someone will figure out how to be offended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUrUo2wESdM
No More Bluetooth Speakers
Carnival has reinforced rules against guests playing their own music loudly in public areas, including by the pools and hallways. While ostensibly for everyone's comfort, many Black passengers feel this rule is selectively enforced against them. They argue that other groups might play different genres of music without facing the same level of scrutiny.
The issue, to me, has never been about selective enforcement of personal music at the pool or other venues; it's been that the ship provides its own entertainment at those same venues, with hired bands to perform for all. A cruise ship is not each person's private yacht for them to play the music of their choice.

In this day and age of bluetooth headphones, AirPods, etc, if one insists upon using a Bluetooth speaker, it is not about the music. It is about someone who's pronouns are: Me, Myself and I.
