Michael Madsen, the rough-and-tumble actor best known for his work in the Quentin Tarantino films Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill: Vol. 2, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, died Thursday morning. He was 67.
Madsen was found unresponsive by deputies responding to a 911 call at his Malibu home and pronounced dead at 8:25 a.m., a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.
Liz Rodriguez, his rep at EMR Media Entertainment, told THR that “we understand Michael had a cardiac arrest.”

RIP. I liked him in any role. Yep, until the last few years anyway. In some real stinkers. You could tell he was probably on hired for his name and likely only spent a day filming.

I agree.
There is more here than “he died”.
The guy seemed broken inside.

I will be 68 on December 16; this is the year of my life that my body has shown the most signs of deterioration; oh well, I guess old age isn’t that far off

i have no recollection of him being in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” (great movie!). He must have had a tiny (cameo?) role.

Yes, cf. “Candyman” era.

Whoa ...
He wasn't the greatest actor in the world, but he had presence. When he was on screen, all eyes were on him.
His best performance was in Kill Bill Vol. II, imo, as Bill's brother Budd.

Too young, too young.
I always wanted to cast Michael Madsen and Mads Mikkelsen in the same movie. Now that will never happen.

A couple of names I would add to that list would be the late Tom Sizemore, and Linda Hamilton.
