(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Rosie O’Donnell, the self-proclaimed “actor” and “activist,” revealed Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s first term drove her into depression, overeating and drinking too much.
She made this confession during a Tuesday interview on The Chris Cuomo Project podcast, while explaining why she fled to Ireland after Trump’s 2024 landslide win.
“I wasn’t one of those people who said, ‘If he gets elected, I’m going to move.’ I knew that I would never move because I’m very much a homebody and I like to be near my kids … but I really felt this was self-preservation for me,” O’Donnell said.
“Because during his first go-round, it was very difficult and I got myself into some bad places, you know. I was very, very depressed. I was overeating. I was overdrinking. I was so depressed, Chris,” she added.

Why did someone think this was ‘journalism?’
This lady has poor mental health. Pitiful soul
Maybe because she’s a fat, pig, dog, slob and a disgusting animal
There has not been closure about her citizenship.
I saw she kept her US citizenship but just moved with big attention seeking fanfare to Ireland.
In the “process” of also getting Irish citizenship which would allow her dual citizenship.
Some celebrities do that.
Neil Young was solely a Canadian citizen for most of his life, but he in the US since 1966. Added US citizenship in January, 2020 so he could spitefully vote against Trump along with viciously slandering him as usual.

Ha, ha, ha! The Babylon Bee strikes again! 🐝
Oh, wait. This isn’t the Bee?
Good one. To come to think of it you’re onto something.
She was Overdrinking?
So she moves to Ireland?
Yeah...those visit’s to the Jameson’s distillery are quite therapeutic.
Rosie did/doing it to herself , seek help
She has not aged well. False assumptions about reality have consequences.
What’s the change? She’s always been stupid and fat or fat and stupid!
............”declaring a Fat-Twat on the Iranian leaders and is sending them Rosie O’Donnell.”
Thanks. Needed that giggle, too hot to go out here, trapped at the ‘;puter.
Lesbians are among the most unhappy people there are.
Back before I retired, one of my co-workers (nice gal, super lib but we got along fine) told me the same thing. She was a social work volunteer of some kind in SF, delt with gays and lesbians quite a bit, and made the observation that they were the most miserable and depressed people she's ever encountered. (Not a judgment, an observation).
Trump broke Rosie O’Donnell like he broke Kathy Griffin.
They jumped the shark with their demented attacks and they every bit deserved it.
I’m not sure if she’s a home. She has written in her books, blogs and in interviews that she is pursuing a love affair with one of the Menendez brothers.
I’m not kidding
Get a life Rosie....
Believe it or not, her nickname used to be “The Queen of Nice.” She was not thin, but thinner than she is now, and she had a daytime talk show where she pretended to be heterosexual and swooned over handsome male guests like Tom Cruise.
Then, shortly after one of the famous school shootings, Tom Selleck came on her show to promote a movie and she viciously attacked him, just because he’s a member of the NRA. As if the school shooting was his fault. She totally ambushed him. That was the start of her being a mean, vicious lib and a “B.”

An old friend of mine decided she was a lesbian, woman in her house was truly ugly. So bad that one of friend’s Maine Coon Cats wouldn’t come into the house for months until friend threw the lesbian out.
In many ways, cats are smarter than people.
