I want a recommendation for a high definition camera that I can mount on my window, plug in, and use to stream my bird feeders on line. Because I'm that dull!

I use the RioLink RLC-810WA, which is an outdoor 4K, plugs in, and has Wi-Fi to connect, and it has an SD card for storage but can also email and store to other computers. ~$85.

Try Amazon. They have what you’re looking for.

Because I want a view of all ten feeders and the birdbath and the flowering dogwood as well as the wildlife.

It is a pretty and active site

It sounds like you really are!

Missed them

Never have had Cardinals stay until this year.

So pleased. When all the hatches of the gold finches gather at the end of summer we sometimes have up to 35 males at once. What a lovely time!

I like those.

At times I would like to see about hand feeding birds. I see others do it. Rigging up some kind of camera mount for a Go Pro would be easy.

As a rule, animals tend to like me.

The spouse has mentioned bird feeders. I could see some here in the back yard.

I dont go chasing for birds with a bird lifetime list.

I do list the birds that have visited the feeders over the years... and enjoy watching them.

Hawks generally hang around a lot in my area of the Columbia SC burbs.

I was able to get some of a hawk or two with my P1000 on a tripod.

There is a Lowes Foods that puts up a large Christmas tree every year close by. My wife kept an eye out when one was perching and after a few times got these.

Video was edited in with Final Cut. Photo post was done with Topaz AI and GIMP.

The closeups took just about every bit of zoom lens the P1000 had.

There has to be something that converts the video coming out of the camera into a data stream. I am sure there are inexpensive video apps that can do it.

I am a lifelong “still” photographer, but I know all of my pro level cameras can export video. I just never had to do it.

I use Vision Well and Dekco. Both have been good but I prefer the Dekco.

Amazon will have dozens of five star reviews, all good, from the last month and then ...
Amazon will have as many one star reviews, all bad, from the last two years
Happy until it hreaks in short time
Watch out for all the warranty denials due to amazon purchase

VicoHome sells a bird feeder that has a hi def camera mounted in it. A solar panel mounts in the side to charge the battery. Put it on a pole and it hooks up to your wifi so you can use the app on your phone to bird watch....up close and personal. Easy set up. We love ours.
