Iranian construction crews are busy at work on the surface of the uranium enrichment facility in Fordow five days after the US nailed the underground fortress with 30,000 pound bunker buster bombs, new satellite images showed.
Crews operated excavators, bulldozers, and other construction vehicles near the craters and punctures in the ground above the nuclear facility caused by the GBU-57 bunker buster bombs dropped by American B-2s last weekend, according to images captured by Maxar Technologies on Friday.
Other images showed apparent construction crews building access roads to the facility and rebuilding the damaged dirt road that led to the bunker laboratory that was targeted by the US as part of Israel’s conflict with the Islamic Republic.
Satellite images from before the attack showed similar construction activity on the surface of Fordow in the 24-hour period prior to the bunker-busters piercing the desert surface.
Those vehicles appeared to be moving unidentified contents out of the facility to a location roughly half-a-mile away.
Officials have stated that there has been no nuclear fallout or contamination as a result of the strikes.
Fordow’s centrifuges are currently ‘no longer operational’ according to the UN’s nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency.
“It has suffered enormous damage,” IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi told Radio France Internationale on Thursday.
“There is very, very, very considerable damage,” Grossi said.
The extent of the destruction — and the amount of time the Iranian regime’s program has been set back — have yet to be officially determined.

Mossad has already been there and took a dump on the welcome mat.
They know there are some very, very big and deep holes in the ground.
They also know that there has been no increase in external radiation levels.
Let them do it, and when they are well advanced in the repair, send a message telling them to clear the area because it is going to collapse.
Centrifuges at the Fordow uranium enrichment plant in Iran are “no longer operational”...Rafael Grossi, the head of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog, said on French radio on Thursday
The centrifuges — giant machines that spin at supersonic speeds to enrich uranium — require a high degree of precision and are VULNERABLE TO INTENSE VIBRATIONS....“There was no escaping significant physical damage,” Mr. Grossi said. “So we can come to a fairly accurate technical conclusion.”
This is not a news story. First place. The Nile program is over. No mercy means Trump doesn’t care that it’s been their and put own within enemies leverage for 46 years. It’s over
No amount of construction crew work tight now is going to resurrect any centrifuges or even a radiation sign. The hate Trump
Press can give it up
Like birthright citizenship.
I noticed Trump answered a question about IAEA being called in to oversee, Trump said something like- ya, the IAEA, someone, someone that knows what they’re doing.
But they have no choice but to obey.
Never give an order you know can’t be carried out. seriously? We’re talking about people who have no respect for human life. Moslem and communist leaders don’t give a rats @$$ if an order can actually be carried out, they just expect the cannon fodder to do or die…..one way or the other.
They should have dumped pork waste on it.
The Iranians know we have eyes on this site.
No need to re-bomb them just because they are moving around on the ground outside it.
Could be a nice “look over here so you won’t look over there” operation though.
The B-2 crews at 30,000 feet were quite safe. I’m not so sure that goes for the ground crews. I wonder if the ayatollah Khamenei is going in first to prove it’s safe, or maybe to meet his 72 virgins.
“Do this until they surrender, not a cease fire. Surrender means the rulers lose, cease fire is simply a pause in the statis quo”
Yes. IF YOU MUST make war, it has to be WWII style - everything possible until unconditional surrender.
The state of affairs with Korea is what it is because the military status has been a ceasefire, not a peace treaty. To get a peace treaty was never going to be possible unless the U.S. went to war with China, because China was going to continue to just keep throwing more bodies into the fight, and the U.S. psychology was not there to do more than fight the ground fight the Chinese wanted. We would have had to run bombing missions into China to degrade its ability to supply its mission in Korea. Following the WWII years, there was not public or political support to do that as much as it needed to be done. The State department vetoed anything more than limited bombing along the China-Korea border. It was never enough to degrade China’s human and material supply lines into Korea. If we had actually kicked Chinese forces out of Korea, the North Korean forces would have been defeated, Korea would have been unified by the South Koreans, and the defeat for China may have altered its politics.
That’s what I don’t understand. Nobody has mentioned that joint as being another Chernobyl. That radiation had to go somewhere.
These sites were not nuclear reactors with potential critical mass. I believe only reactor in Iran is at Bushehr.
The US needs to rope off the three nuke sites we destroyed by advising Iran we will be coordinating our eye in the sky intelligence with Israel so that any convoy approaching within 3 miles of the sites will be greeted within 7 minutes by an Israeli ballistic missile
Another visit with CBU’s might deter future construction volunteers
At the time of the accident in the reactor of the fourth power-generating unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986, the core contained 1659 fuel assemblies. Each assembly contained 114.7 kg of uranium, and therefore the reactor contained a total of 114.7 x 1659 = 190,287.3 kg of uranium. If the amount of fuel is calculated according to the uranium dioxide, i.e. in the form in which the fuel was loaded into the fuel elements, then its mass in each fuel element was 3.6 kg. A fuel assembly consists of 36 fuel elements, and therefore the reactor contained 3.6 x 36 x 1659 = 215,006.4 kg of uranium dioxide.
Since Iran is working on their first bomb, they aren't going to have hundreds of tons of uranium there.
That does make me wonder what the enrichment procedure is at that site. Do they deal with many pounds at a time, or just a small amount in the centrifuges at once with the rest at other sites?
And we can hope none of those bombs dropped didn’t have any depleted uranium in them.
