Journalism is not unlike government work. Too many of them see themselves as part of a privileged ruling class, too enlightened for the unwashed masses to properly appreciate.

I agree the quality of education in Ivy League schools, apart from true science courses, is questionable.
It used to be that a Harvard degree, or any Ivy League degree, was considered evidence of intelligence due to their strict admissions standards. But even this credential is now questionable as these institutions have been converted into pods of Marxist social engineering.

If a cancer survivor works at the DMV and bullies customers, should we be nice to them?
If a cancer survivor is a socialist running for NYC Mayor, should we be nice to them?
What the hell is your statement suppose to convey? I am way past tired of giving people who do wrong a break because they are a cancer survivor, a war veteran, a former POW, whatever category. If a person spouts evil or commits bad acts, why should anyone tread carefully around them due to some bad medical condition?
