A popular influencer went into cardiac arrest and died after undergoing plastic surgery just hours after partying with the surgeon in Turkey.
Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini, 31, had traveled from Mozambique to Istanbul last Friday with her husband, Elgar Miles, to undergo several cosmetic procedures.
Buldrini signed up to undergo a breast augmentation, liposuction and a nose job in return for promoting Tusa Hospital in Istanbul on social media, according to local news outlet O Tempo.
“She wanted to undergo these procedures to improve her aesthetic standards. It was a dream of hers,” Miles told the outlet, per Daily Mail.
The couple, who wed just last month, had inquired about changing the date of the operation, which was originally slated for Wednesday, to allow an extra day for recovery...
Buldrini — who had boasted 797,000 Instagram followers and often shared singing videos on the platform — went under the knife the following day, and was out of the operating room by 11 p.m. Sunday.
Miles told the outlet that he had received a photo of his wife recovering and was told that she was still under anesthesia.
“They told me to go to the room, the assistants were acting strangely. I waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive her,” he said.
Hours later, doctors told him that she had died.

I think that the female body is one of God’s most beautiful creations, and I bothers me to see that kind of tattooing all over it.
I am not a prude, I just don’t get it. If a woman got some kind of small tattoo, it wouldn’t bother me at all. But that?
And then, when. most women turn 50, all that stuff begins metamorphosing into something that is distinctly not fashionable or attractive.
I just think it is sad.
And many young people today live on social media. Anonymous posters are their peers.
Social media has way more influence on many young people than do (often single or absentee) parents, much less pastors.

I was in an airport recently and saw about a half dozen women in their 30’s that had lots of tats on their legs. They were wearing short shorts and the tats were from the ankles to the upper thighs. And they strut around like a bunch of peacocks.
There are tons of these relatively unimpressive “influencers” followed mostly by women who “love” them so much and cry for every event in their lives. Everywhere they go, clothes, meals etc provided by sponsors. Lots of trips to Disneyworld.
Some are attractive, which is why guys check them out.

I don't believe these "followers" are really so emotional about people they never met. I think they're faking their "love" as a form of vicarious participation in the "amazing lives" of whoever they follow.
In the old days, teeny boppers would seek vicarious participation in the lives of their favorite celebrities by joining fan clubs or getting autographs.
