When people think of American commerce, they think of New York. And when people think of American Jewish culture, they also think of New York, which has the largest Jewish community of any city in the world outside of Israel. But if the polls are correct, New York may soon have a mayor who is an avowed Marxist and an antisemite. (And yes, I equate anti-Zionism directly with antisemitism.)

That will never happen. NYC has been over the edge for a very long time, just like other RAT-run cities in the country. Things will never be normal in them. I just hope I'm dead before this country is turned into a third-world $hit hole.

I don’t know...there’s AOC, Jeffries, and a host of Jew hating dems in NY. And US Jewish voters seem to enjoy voting against their own interests.
How is this a problem?
all of his policies are destructive, Not a single one would help the city or the citizens or businesses.
It’s the equivalent of an African country, with massive poverty and no hope whatsoever, if any of his policies were to be implemented.
the rich were fleeing NYC before, and if he’s elected, there won’t be any rich people left. And the tax base will have been destroyed, and none of his programs would have the tax revenue to be implemented. The state wouldn’t help and the federal government wouldn’t either.
So, if he’s elected, the residents of NYC would have destroyed the city and their livelihoods.
I’d like to think it would, that the city isn’t lost to true crazies. There used to be a pendulum. I think they’ve been stealing the vote for a while now, even with the low trurnout.

I think the same thing about young people (born since Roe v Wade in 1973) voting for the Democrat Party that's loud and proud about wiping away 1/3rd of their generation through abortion.
Once Norman Mailer ran for NYC mayor (with the slogan “Vote The Rascals In”, and also William F. Buckley.
After Buckley ran, which his brother James L. Buckley considered to be a joke and a stunt, his brother reconsidered and thought of running for US Senate in New York. Got the nomination by the Conservative Party.
He won and served from January 3, 1971 – January 3, 1977. Died at age 100 in 2023. RIP.
