Most of that is just rhetoric Jim

The sad thing is war and conflict will keep that regime in power (and I have no love for the Islamic Republic!). They will use it to bolster themselves

It’s damn complicated....

"1. The U.S. military had no business being in Beirut in the first place."

That is a separate debate, (invite of Lebanon Gov. etc) but can also be argued that where US troops are was was no business of Iran either.

If we have military forces in the nation of, say Ogandu to help with an earthquake at the request of their government, does that make it OK for another nation to attack our personnel "because we had no business being there"?

As a sovereign nation we do not move about the world by permission of the Iranian government.

Iraq war, certainly bad juju, but was also no concern of Iran - or would blowing off the legs of our infantry be their "righteous perogative"?

Typical leftist hippie “logic”.
“I don’t know anybody who has been killed by Iran”.

Maybe she should meet the families of our servicemen killed by Iran.

Or we’ll wait till she meets the atom bomb.

In 1940 she wouldn’t have known anybody killed by Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan.

Oh and she’s “sick of it “.

No logic just slogans.

And as always with the left, she’s encouraging our enemy to keep fighting while she weakens the home front.

She’s a moron.

MTG’s screed blends legitimate concerns with oversimplifications and a questionable framing of foreign threats. To respond to her (and to you, Rand) effectively, one must separate childish emotional appeal from strategic reality.

She draws a false equivalence between domestic crime and the threat of a nuclear Iran.

Foreign policy isn’t about tallying local victims—it’s about preventing catastrophic threats before they materialize. Iran with nukes isn’t like a fentanyl dealer; it’s a global threat capable of blackmail, mass destruction, or proxy terror.

Her misunderstanding of deterrence is dangerous. Iran has openly threatened to destroy Israel and the U.S. If intel showed Iran nearing nuclear capability, then acting wasn’t about serving Israel—it was about defending U.S. and global security.

She also ignores Iran’s long record of killing Americans through proxies. And while her frustration with endless wars is valid, stopping a nuclear Iran is not a “forever war”—it’s precisely the kind of limited, high-stakes action that can prevent one.

Yes, we want a booming economy and peace at home—but national security isn’t optional. Pretending we can ignore Iran’s nuclear ambitions because it’s politically convenient is a gamble no serious nation takes.

No, it isn’t. It most definitely is not. Think of Iran as one big suicide bomber. You really want a suicide bomber with nuclear weapons?

I like MTG but many Americans have been killed by Iran so wrong on that account and more would be through their terrorist ties and if they ever get a nuke, they’ll use it.

Hell hath no fury like an already rage filled homely looking woman undergoing menopause and lacking the ability to grow old with class and grace. She’s a witch. No wonder the Dems seek to make her the face of the Republican Party.

If Kamala was President, we’d be having brunch.

How much longer could we have kicked the Nuclear Iran can down the road? I guess it’s one of those things we’ll never know. Like a Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris presidency.

In both cases, the U.S. basically took sides in a civil war — in a country thousands of miles away that presented no threat to us. It takes a special kind of delusion to think that is ever likely to work out well.

From my profile page ...

I voted for Donald Trump because I was tired of draft-dodging Ivy League globalist pr!cks running this nation’s foreign policy.

The United States should be isolationist by nature and interventionist in rare, exceptional cases. That's the only legitimate political stature for a country that is supposed to be built on the idea of limited government. A government that pisses away thousands of lives and trillions of dollars on military campaigns in Islamic sh!t-holes halfway around the world while facilitating an invasion of Third World peasants here at home has no moral claim on any loyalty from its citizens anymore.

They. Don’t yet have nuclear potential as Iran does, Iran will also use them against us when they can. So lets.prioritize our needs.

“I thought we were against the endless foreign wars.“

I know President Trump is.

Right about now in such a case we are hearing all about how all kinds of military units are gearing up.

That’s not what this is.

She’s been Brian Glenn’s main squeeze for several months now. (Another media guy [Jesse Watters, Pete Hegseth] who dumped his wife for another woman.) I wonder how/if this will impact his reporting for RAV.
