I wasn't born until 78 but I remember my grandma did have carpet in the bathroom..

It was a significant year for me. In some ways it seems like forever ago and other ways it’s hard to believe it was that long ago.

I was 5 in ‘73. Great cartoons, and we lived in Ft. Lauderdale. I was a feral suburban kid, the youngest of 5. I walked to and from school on my own, could walk to the store, and the cartoons were BRILLIANT.
I do remember carpet in one of the bathrooms in the house we had in Stuart. It was lime green.

The year I graduated high school.
I never really thought the era was about anything except a bunch of people too focused on themselves.

This has an agenda. I do not remember seeing women with a tattoos except at a carnival freak show. Not one. Never saw a electric car in the 70s, ever.

I remember seeing this exact bathroom - in purple too.

I love shag carpet - love it to this day. Beats the generic, flat "oatmeal" that everyone seems to have these days, or noisy wooden floors which I hate even more.
