In the months before I retired, the phrases, “We will circle back to that” and “Let’s not silo information” were used in almost every meeting. It got to the point I was audibly groaning each time one of those phrases were used.
I’m so glad I no longer have meetings to attend!
The obvious conclusion is that the author is desperate to convince the reader that he is one of the smart ones. Hint he’s not.

I had an old friend (RIP) that once said “I’m at the age now where I know I’m repeating the same stories, but I don’t give a damn!”
I’m still at the stage where I’ll think my kids (27 years and older) must have heard the story about some adventure of mine and every so often they’ll say something like “And I’m just hearing about this now!?”
