We either go bankrupt or we go to subscription only or we need to get busy today.
The finances are a growing problem and that’s an indication there is at least one other problem that has grown.
It seems I will have to pay my third quarter amount in the second quarter as I don’t think the people that rescue this site at the end of each quarter will kick in enough themselves.
This site is in my opinion the best of its type and should be kept afloat.
I will look at my monthly and bump it $10/month...maybe more.

People you are in agreement with on many topics are vehemently against you having a divergent position in any other topic. Ukraine, Russia, China, Israel, who & how to deport, immigration.. These are some of many areas where positions are so hardened that courteous discussion seems impossible.
Trump slowly wins through on his agenda the high pitch of anger driven by uncertainty will ebb. We live in perilous times and our worst enemies don’t always wear ID badges.
I agree but that rests with management. There are some participants that I wouldn't mind seeing go. Such as the anti-Israel crowd and the pro global war crowd. I don't mind diverse opinions but our countries security is at stake and WWW3 is not in anybodys best interest. I give what I can (living on SS) but will kick in more to keep this alive medical bills be darned.

I’ve been here since May 1998 and, as others have pointed out recently, the site is kind of running out of gas.
JimRob created a wonderful, at the time unique platform, but now there’s a lot of competition, issues are different, and the signal to noise ratio is way down.
Probably some combination of all those things.
Just put 50 in. I’ll do another Grant tomorrow after I make a bank deposit. I need my FR!

It would be nice if someone from FR management would weigh in on their thoughts about making this a subscription site.
