Scientists have announced a new discovery of an underground city beneath the Egyptian pyramids. The announcement comes just months after the first reports of an underground city beneath Khafre’s pyramid, reports Metro.
The latest finds, said to be located beneath the Pyramid of Menkaure, suggest the existence of a large underground complex that may connect all three pyramids at Giza.
A team of researchers led by Italian scientist Filippo Biondi previously announced the discovery of columnar structures beneath the Pyramid of Khafre. According to Biondi, tomographic scans now reveal a similar structure beneath the Pyramid of Menkaure.
Researchers suggest that the structures could have been built 38,000 years ago by an ancient civilization that existed before known Egyptian history and was destroyed by a global catastrophe about 12,800 years ago.
This controversial hypothesis has met with widespread skepticism, particularly because the research results have not been peer-reviewed or published in any reputable archaeological journal.

The Emperor Seamount Chain alone disproves it beyond a reasonable doubt. If YEC were true you would have to wear a seat belt to keep from getting rolled around on the beach in Hawaii because of the velocity. We would have a new Hawaiian island being created from the hot spot every month. So with all respect YEC is a myth.

Let me share though that I do not rule out creation because I do not believe in evolution. There is just too much that rules out the Young Earth theory.
If there is actually a buried city, it may be that it was buried by massive sandstorms from the Sahara, with the pyramids built as a grave marker of sorts.

A SPE of this magnitude would have been large enough to deliver a lethal radiation dose of at least 3–6 Sv to the Earth’s surface, and hence could have been a principal cause of the final termination of the Pleistocene megafauna and several genera of smaller mammals and birds. The event time-correlates with a large-magnitude acidity spike found at 1708.65 m in the GISP2 Greenland ice record, which is associated with high NO–3 ion concentrations and a rapid rise in 10Be deposition rate, all of which are indicators of a sudden cosmic-ray influx. The depletion of nitrate ions within this acidic ice layer suggests that the snowpack surface at that time was exposed to intense UV for a prolonged period, which is consistent with a temporary destruction of the polar ozone layer by solar cosmic rays. The acidity event also coincides with a large-magnitude, abrupt climatic excursion and is associated with elevated ammonium ion concentrations, an indicator of global fires.

Thank you. The uncertainty of impact events and the periodicity of abrupt climate transitions argue in favor of solar eruptions and fluctuations as the cause. It is good to see the reasoning and evidence for that in print by experts.
And it stands to reason too. A solar event would fit better. There would be an almost immediate hot flash melt and then there would be an extended cold period after because of the massive forest fire smoke clouds engulfing the earth blocking the sunlight. It fits the data better than the impact theory.

Just watched the movie “Knowing.” It was not well received by audiences but I found concept to be interesting.
The special effects were great but the alien angle was goofy. Asteroid or solar super flare. Pick your poison.
The 3I/ATLAS discovery is fascinating. Seems like this 11 mile-wide object was shot out of a cannon, traveling at 156,000 mph. Coming from Sagittarius, it could be a slingshot around the black hole at the center of our galaxy. Incredibly hyperbolic (e6.5+), with a slight deflection angle induced by our Sun. Just inside the orbit of Mars. Could stay near Sagittarius until Sept. 2025.
