In a televised speech styled like a State of the Union address, the California governor warned that the scenes in Los Angeles, where thousands of military troops took to the streets this week to clamp down on protests against President Trump’s immigration raids, were a taste of things to come.
“Other states are next. Democracy is next. Democracy is under assault before our eyes. This moment we have feared has arrived,” he said.
Newsom’s latest battle against his long-time foe Trump was spurred by the president’s decision to deploy 4,000 National Guard members and 700 marines. He saw it as a heavy-handed stunt that has made the unrest worse, not better. The 57-year-old Democrat responded by suing the US government, threatening to withhold tens of billions in annual federal tax dollars and embarking on a media blitz of print, broadcast and social media — at one point tweeting Trump’s border tsar to “come and get me, tough guy”.

If the US votes Gavin in then this country deserves whatever’s coming. Especially after all the examples he has given us about how horrible he is.
Gavin is a fence rooster. Lots of crowing and strutting.
The proper approach to Gavin is to humilate him. It's clear that Trump is kryptonite to Gavin so Vance or Rubio need to have the same approach in 2028 when they're running for the White House.
