We came upon a gator at our local Veteran’s park Wednesday. He was probably 5-6 feet. Called the FWC hotline to report ‘Nuisance’ gators.............
To report a nuisance alligator in Florida, you should contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Nuisance Alligator Hotline at 866-FWC-GATOR (866-392-4286).

I have lived in Eastern NC all my life. New Bern/Jacksonville/Wilmington. Now Morehead. There a many gators here all the way up to VA line. Huge ones. Why people don’t think they are here is beyond me.

George Washington, while surveying in southern Virginia, reported spotting a gator. They were a bit further norther than they are now.
