Thanks - your recipe is very, very close to my recipe - exact same ingredients except for cayenne .... I added Tabasco or Sriracha. I put paprika in a salt shaker to sprinkle on the top. I also get ‘fancy’ & use a pastry bag/tip for piping because I’m not good at filling with a spoon :-)

The guys in our family scarf up the deviled eggs in no time. When the Pastor was announcing the picnic/party on the 29th & the sign up sheet, she commented “and I like deviled eggs .... just saying!” Deviled eggs are certainly popular with most people.

Thanks again!

NP, recipe courtesy of the Marlboro Cookbook. The wife of a buddy of mine gave it to me years ago. Lots of flavorful and rustic recipes a la Marlboro man on the trail as pictured in ads back then. Flavorful because smokers’ taste buds are on the weak side.

Recipe calls for a ziploc bag with corner cut off in place of a pastry or cake decorating bag. Doesn’t give that fancy star shape but beats a spoon for neatness.

I use a quart ziploc, put in the yolks mayo etc. seal it, squeeze it to mix, cut the tip off the bottom and use it as a piping bag. No dish to wash and toss the bag.
