I think the biggest fear for most people, is that this strike on Iran could potentially escalate into WW3 or another prolonged conflict.
But as of now, Russia and China have shown ZERO interest in defending Iran or supplying any military support. Iran’s other allies are limited to Syria and their own proxies like Hezbollah and the Houthis, who are all already weakened due to earlier strikes from Israel and the US. Not to mention, they are all significantly outmatched militarily and rely on Iran for their funding and weaponry.
So as of now, WW3 does not appear to be on the table. Iran are on their own.
Now the question is, can Trump navigate this without getting the US into another drawn out conflict like Iraq or Afghanistan? Luckily, he’s already proven with Syria in 2018, that he can pull off precision strikes while avoiding any further escalation.
All of Trump’s messaging has been consistent that he does not want a war, and he essentially ruled out any talk of boots on the ground. Trump’s main objective is already accomplished with Iran’s nuclear capabilities allegedly neutralized. Trump has no need for troops in Iran.
So while I know many are concerned about this situation and the potential for escalation, WW3 does not appear to be happening any time soon, and Trump has a proven track record of navigating very similar situations without creating broader conflict or prolonged war.
The overall stance from Trump and his administration is that this is the end of a decades-long war, rather than the beginning of a new one.

For everyone who thinks Iran “moved enriched uranium out before the strike”:
1.- The trucks in the images are dump trucks, not uranium-shipping trailers.
2.- To move/transport uranium they’d use 48Y-type cylinders in sealed trailers, not open-bed trucks full of sand. Hauling uranium that way would be logistically unsafe, legally impossible, and operationally reckless.
And if you, a civilian, can spot this on commercial imagery, do you really believe the world’s best-equipped intelligence services wouldn’t notice?
3.- The trucks shown are only good for dirt, rubble, or gravel—exactly what you need to plug tunnels and reinforce portals before an airstrike.
Does that actually help protect the site?
Yes. Defensive engineers follow a simple rule: the more material a bomb must punch through before hitting its real target, the more energy it loses and the less damage it does on detonation.
Why fill entrances with concrete/soil?
- Every extra meter of dense material bleeds velocity from the bomb, acting as a brake and reducing damage.
- Loose earth disperses the blast; it absorbs part of the shock wave, lowering the impact inside.
- The debris re-seals the entrance after the explosion, blocking access again.
- The fill helps, but it doesn’t make Fordow invulnerable especially when a dozen MOPs are involved.
So the idea that they were sneaking uranium out especially in those trucks is extremely unlikely.

US Navy intervention? Oh, yeah, already been done.
We re-built the USS Ohio a few years ago to do this exact job. Got a big pic of it going into drydock and blowing the fish out of its ballast tasnks.
The Ohio, or one of its sisters, was already touring the Persian Gulf at go time. The math is pretty neat. It’s about 400 miles up to Istafahan and they shot 30 Tomahawks, (from underwater) and timed them to arrive within minutes of the 7 B2’s dropping some 14 GBU’s on the rathole. 30 would be enough to destroy every building at the place.
This part of the strike is notable since Istafahan is where the Mullers process the U235 into actual solid metal which is the last big, necessary, step in making a fissionable shape for a bomb. They will now have to make paperweights instead of bombs.
And we used 125 aircraft for the mission. Some of those had to come from at least one of our carriers that is in the ‘hood. So you bet. The US Navy got a piece of the action and you can bet they will make sure the OHIO can get out to go reload. Bet your life there are at least two fast attacks in the area to keep everyone honest.

The Math Behind Iran’s Rapid Nuclear Breakout
Going from 60% to 90% enriched uranium isn’t a long haul. It’s a sprint, because of the logarithmic nature of isotope separation.
Here’s the math they don’t want you to know:
• Enrichment work (SWU) is not linear. The closer uranium gets to weapons-grade, the less U-238 remains—making separation easier, faster, and more efficient.
•Example using a 20,000 SWU/year facility:
• 60% → 70%: ~4.4 days
• 70% → 80%: ~3.5 days
• 80% → 90%: ~2.6 days
• The final 30% jump (60 → 90%) takes only a fraction of the total effort.
• Each step up requires less separative work than the one before.
• This is basic enrichment physics, not speculation.
With 408 kg of 60% HEU already in hand, Iran doesn’t need years.
It needs two weeks or less, assuming cascades are already configured.
480–768 SWU is enough to produce 5 weapons.
That was well within Iran’s existing capability.
Bottom line:
By the time the world notices, it’s already too late.

Iran mining the Straight of Hormuz is highly unlikely.
Here’s the breakdown:
1. Iran threatening to shut down the Strait of Hormuz is classic saber-rattling.
• It’s a pressure tactic they’ve used for decades.
• But shutting it down would cripple Iran’s own economy, which is already under severe sanctions.
• Iran exports over 90% of its oil through the Strait, including to its biggest customer: China.
2. China needs the Strait open desperately.
• China gets a significant portion of its crude oil from Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, all flowing through the Strait.
• If it closed, China would suffer massive economic and energy disruption, which they absolutely cannot afford amid their current internal and external pressures.
3. Beijing controls more than Tehran wants to admit.
• Iran talks tough, but China is their economic lifeline.
• If China tells Iran to cool it, Iran listens.
• Iran might stage provocations or use proxies, but a full closure of the Strait would risk angering the one nation funding their regime.
4. The real threat is asymmetric warfare, not a full blockade.
• Expect Iran to target tankers, deploy sea mines, or use drones, acts that keep tension high without full-scale shutdown.
• This allows them to project power while staying under the threshold of a global military response.
Final Thought:
Iran won’t shut it down unless they’re suicidal (which their radical ideology actually is), and China won’t let them.
Watch for bluster, minor skirmishes, and false flag operations but not total closure.
