My wife wants to see it. I’m not sure it’s even out yet.

It’s one of those uplifting Angel Studios movies. I’m not into them, I find uplifting movies to be very saccharine, but if you’re into that sort of thing Angel Studios is very reliable for doing a good job uplifting movies.

Thought at first, here’s yet another sequel film.

To....

Not My First Rodeo.
Weren’t Nicolas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson in that one?

We saw the movie last weekend and enjoyed it.

Neal McDonough is known mostly for playing bad guys. For his entire career, he refused to kiss another woman on-screen, leaving him only "bad guy" roles. In this movie, he's the good guy, and kisses his wife - who is also his real-life wife. (The way they worked that into the story line is pretty neat.)

The story is good and predictable, but we enjoyed it - and also not having to sit through the sex-scenes and/or profanity, etc. It's a good movie.

I will on occasion have adventure dreams of bulls trying to tear me up in the chute.
