Tattoos have become a more common sight in workplaces around the United States, even making appearances among members of the U.S. House and Senate. Amid this shift, a large majority of U.S. adults say society has become more accepting of people with tattoos in recent decades, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. And 32% of adults have a tattoo themselves, including 22% who have more than one.......

Age: Adults under 50 are especially likely to have a tattoo. Some 41% of those under 30 have at least one, as do 46% of those ages 30 to 49. This compares with a quarter of adults ages 50 to 64 and 13% of those 65 and older. Many conservatives get tattoos, too. It all depends on the tat and what it represents. A tat can be tasteful. Tattooing is even used in the medical field. I myself don’t have any tattoos, except for the radiation dots. (IYKYK)
One of my friends, a retired Ventura County Sheriff Deputy, said that he loves tattoos. It makes the perps easier to identify in a police lineup.
While I totally understand and agree when it comes to our bodies ascgiven from birth, I question whether Leviticus 19:28 should bind the conscience now that Christ by His marks has redeemed all flesh.
In other words, that directive applied in view of Jewish ceremonial law, which has been fulfilled. I hearken to maintaining my body as given regardless of this verse.
Hegseth has mondo tats that frighten the left.
Well they sure didn’t choose to get those tattoos.
Amazing - they were “tattooed 10 numbers apart” at Auschwitz and met for the first time 73 years later.
Yep. That’s a good example.
Or a sweatshirt? Or—a bumper sticker?
Fully agree. It's just sad. Like spray painting an art piece in a museum.
I think professional athletes missed the memo, especially the NBA players.
There was a tiny craze for a few aristo ladies, in Victorian England to get a teeny one that was hidden, but that was it, until rather recently.
I have always known about the Biblical prohibition, but never really thought much about it.
For many different reasons, I think that's REALLY dumb; especially when people have many, and they're ugly.
And the piercings are even worse!
Jesus was an OBSERVANT JEW, when HE was a human and not only followed Biblical laws, but wanted everyone else to.
SPOT ON!
I think that was a George Carlin joke about someone’s Chinese tattoo actually said “Beef with Broccoli.”
Had a coworker that had silver ink done on butterflies on her back. She had to have an MRI and that metallic ink started burning her skin.
A few years ago I was considering getting a tattoo on my ankle. My tatted massage therapist talked me out of it. “You’re actually unique because you DON’T have one. Everybody has them now.”
The trifecta!....no vaxx,no piercings,no tatoos!!!!
