Thanks. Yeah, it will be way up on my upper arm. Even short sleeves will cover it.

Everyone with a tattoo says that they have one for "self-expression." The trouble is, most of them really have nothing worthwhile, much less original, to express.

I guess when you're inarticulate and uninformed, you can try to compensate for those things by having ugly little pictures scribbled all over your body.

I have tats that are easily covered with a dress shirt. I am neither gay nor trans. I have reasons and associations for each of my tats, but I’ve gotten tired of explaining it to people so these days I just make something up on the spot.

Hand tats don’t bother me much, but face/neck tats still do.

Not my life though... You do you boo-boo...

Told my two sons that dating women with tattoos is ok, just don’t marry them. My oldest son married an East Texas woman who is a narcissist with multiple tattoos, their marriage is an effing disaster.

I’m a 71YO rebel: no tattoos, no piercings. I have numerous friends and coworkers with body art, it’s their choice, just not my style.

Having spent my entire life associated with the military I’ve been around tattooed people, however the tat’s were mostly on males, and on their bodies. I am sexist and think women are defiling perfection with tattoos, don’t really care if guys get inked or not.

And the only one you need to please is you. So good for you and be happy. On a side note the only tattoo I ever inquired on a guy was why my son got one.

Yeah... My Mother wasn't thrilled either that her Son, me, got one either...

Now I have 6... Sort of. I have a new one covering an old one that I despised the minute the tattooist was done making a mess of it. Decades latter, I finally had the personal and financial means to cover it.

I'm in my mid-50’s now and while I am not averse to acquiring more pieces, I'm not in a rush.

I have seen some ink on women that I thought looked good, and some that even to this day make me wonder, “What the h3ll were they thinking...”

Went to a Sunday service at a local church, one I had never been to before. The pastor came to the pulpit with both his arms heavily tattooed. I walked out, never went back.

Spanish historical accounts record that the Maya practiced the art of tattooing and that tattoos were seen as symbols of bravery for young men and of beauty for women. The images often depicted animal figures such as bats, eagles, or snakes. But until now, no tattooing tools had ever been found, according to a report by La Brújula Verde. Recently, archaeologists investigating the Actun Uayazba Kab cave in Belize's Roaring Creek Valley discovered two elongated pieces of chert with sharp points, dating to between a.d. 250 and 900, which they believe were used to pierce the skin to create permanent tattoos. Microscopic analysis determined that the artifacts had wear patterns consistent with repeated use on skin and also detected traces of black pigment, possibly from soot-based ink. The researchers believe that the puncture tools may have been purposefully and ritually broken and deposited in the cave as an offering. They are trying to attract the kind of male that finds tats attractive,

And then they whine endlessly about there being no good men.

I have a tattoo on my ring finger. I used to take my ring off a lot for work and occasionally when my finger would swell up a little bit.

It’s simply the letter M for my wife’s name, and the birthstone colors for each of my kids.

I have no regrets.
