Well I found a 1945 wheat penny in my change recently, have no idea what the 80 year old coin is worth, but I will keep it as a souvenier.
Your Wheat Penny is worth 5 cents. Maybe 8 cent, depending upon condition. ;)
My Dear Old Grandpa left me his ‘coin collection’ which has turned out to be worth more as scrap metal. ;)
