Erythritol has been phased out of some low carb items, already, in favor of allulose, which is another natural sugar.

Allulose is all the rage in Korea and Korean food companies are already implementing… according to one YouTube personality I follow.

Not nearly as bad as aspartame.

I use stevia.

Just a tiny bit will do.

I wonder just how much erythritol they used to treat the cell samples, and over how long a period.

I like different products but like all things moderation is needed.

Stevia leaf is excellent but doesn’t serve well in all cooking jobs.

Xylitol is another I like. It’s so good sprinkled on berries and such and is a natural sugar extracted from fruits and plants.

Then IMO for some recipes you just can’t beat gold old cane sugar for flavor

“In a new study, researchers treated human cerebral microvascular endothelial cells—cells from the tiny blood vessels in the brain—with erythritol.”

No one BOTHERS to test this stuff before they feed it to the masses?

I guess it’s better to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.

Trust NOONE in Big Ag and Big Pharma. Just eat REAL food!

I remember seeing that chemical in Bai Tea, years ago, before I switched to Zero Sugar Gold Peak Sweet Tea.

Huh. I just buy the big 25 or 50 lb sack of sugar at Costco. Tastes like sugar!
