Elon Musk says 100,000 government employees have committed this dishonest and fraudulent act.
Elon Musk: We’ve actually found there’s a lot of people who are federal government employees. They’re active employees who nonetheless applied for and have received unemployment insurance. While they’re federal employees? Yes. Wow. And this appears to be at least 100,000 people.

... active employees who nonetheless applied for and have received unemployment insurance. Not that there's anything wrong with that. 🤡

Could this have been during periods of government furlough? If so it probably was an overpayment that had to be repaid. Just sayin’.

Elon Musk says 100,000 government employees have committed this dishonest and fraudulent act. They all voted for Democrats. I was led to believe "it's not a crime when a Democrat does it".
There is no way the DOJ has enough staff to prosecute all of them, or even any substantial number of them.
In any case, this should be a firing offense, and the Democrat judge who issues a TRO to prevent that firing needs to be immediately arrested and removed from office.

>>During their conversation, Elon revealed that the DOGE Team found 100,000 active federal employees, who also collected unemployment insurance benefits, while they were still at work.
I would have preferred such an announcement came in the form of 100,000 perp-walks.

The impact of DOGE and Musk hasn't been announced yet. It is going to be yuuge.
Bigger than SpaceX, Tesla, and X (formerly Twitter).

Musk continues to uncover billions upon billions in fraud and waste. Congress is in charge of the budget - what the hell have they been doing all these decades while trillions in tax dollars have been squandered like this? What are Mike Johnson and John Thune doing about it now, besides ignoring the whole situation and hoping Musk goes away soon?
Washington's taxing and spending are fundamentally and irredeemably broken. I paid $112k in federal income tax for 2024. I've been paying every year since I was 15 and got my first part-time job. I've been ripped off all those years by criminals and wastrels.

Sounds like fraud. Any arrests?

Was that wrong? Sure, I got a federal paycheck but I wasn’t actually doing anything and so really I was unemployed. So I applied for unemployment insurance in case they ever figured out that they didn’t have me doing anything.
To: airdalechief
looks like these cases are will be easy to prove not much evidence needed did they apply and collect unemployment while employed?
