Fired?? I am thinking prison is called for. As well as repayment.
Yes, however, I would be happy just to get these grifters out of the federal civil service to open the positions for the non-affirmative action hires under Trump's EOs. That would be less Rats with TDS obstructing the MAGA agenda. We know these grifters are Rats gaming the system because they are special.

And probably correctly so.

When you read about this kind of stuff, and then look to see how you’re scrambling to pay your property tax while on SS,it does make me pretty mad.

Musk continues to uncover billions upon billions in fraud and waste. Congress is in charge of the budget - what the hell have they been doing all these decades while trillions in tax dollars have been squandered like this? What are Mike Johnson and John Thune doing about it now, besides ignoring the whole situation and hoping Musk goes away soon?
Washington's taxing and spending are fundamentally and irredeemably broken. I paid $112k in federal income tax for 2024. I've been paying every year since I was 15 and got my first part-time job. I've been ripped off all those years by criminals and wastrels.

That sounds feasible. Are there no rules that one or the other gets repaid?

I’m sure they’d have to repay the unemployment insurance … assuming they are caught in some kind of data check. I’d say there’s no way there could be 100,000 doing this but then again I don’t hang around with grifters so who knows.

I have sent 4 requests to President Trump through the proper channels during his last term and this year at the Whitehouse for a birthday card for my now 99 yr old mother-in-law.
She has received not ONE single card and I am positive it is because of Trump haters working there who are NOT doing their job or are just trying to make him look bad.

Absolutley fraud. Not long ago cases involving federal wage credits had a lower threshold for felony prosecution. The OIG would eagerly take the cases. Not so much lately.

Was that wrong? Sure, I got a federal paycheck but I wasn’t actually doing anything and so really I was unemployed. So I applied for unemployment insurance in case they ever figured out that they didn’t have me doing anything.
To: airdalechief
looks like these cases are will be easy to prove not much evidence needed did they apply and collect unemployment while employed?

I have not heard about 100,000 arrest warrants.

I worked with a guy back in Michigan who failed to report that he had returned to work after a layoff. He continued to collect unemployment benefits for six weeks. He had to pay back triple the amount that he had been overpaid.

Musk has said a lot of things, but there has been little to no evidence released to support claims like this one.
