This margarita came with a twisssst.
A snake dropped out of the ceiling of a Mexican restaurant and landed in a woman’s margarita, leaving her rattled.
Carletta Andrews said she’d just finished dinner on April 16 with her husband at Patron Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Sandston, Virginia, when she felt something hit her forehead, according to 8News.
“I looked at my husband like what was that,” Andrews explained, adding she’s “scarred” for life. “When I turned around, I saw the snake in my margarita.”
Andrews said the snake — a baby of indeterminate species — started curling itself around her drink’s straw.
“I kept saying please don’t let it go in my purse,” she said. “I left shaking, I was traumatized.” She has not said if she plans to sue.
Restaurant workers rushed in to try to remove the snake with a stick. But another patron grabbed the snake and release it to the wild.
Andrews said the restaurant offered to move her to a booth, but she just wanted to go home.

“Fangs for the memory!”
They charge extra for the Snakearita here.
It could be an invasive species.
+++++++++++
Well established... It invaded a woman’s margarita.
And when you say fangs, I’ll not say you’re welcome.
You generally have to go to Mexico for this kind of thing. I’ll credit the restaurant for carrying the Mexican themed decor beyond the standard level.

Some have all the luck. All I ever got was a packing staple in my salad at howard johnsons.
Enough to give you a serious new kind of Tourista.
I got tourista at the Acapulco Princess, a lovely pricey hotel. If you can get it there, you’ll get it everywhere in Mexico.
About 15 years ago, my son and I were having a snack at the Stanford Golf Course cafe when a mouse dropped from the open rafters right on our table. Dead as a doornail, he was! We still laugh about that.
That was da debil! Run away!
Even Salma Hayek in a bikini couldn’t save that movie.
I’d say that “scarred for life” is an overreach.
So that’s why some cocktails come with little umbrellas! To keep the snakes out!
Ah yes, From Dusk Till Dawn, one of the movies I’ve ever seen.
Wasted again in margaritavillle
Lookin’ for my lost snaker of salt.
