This SOUNDS great! The question unanswered in the story is: How difficult/error prone is it to manufacture this vaccine?

If it’s straightforward, and “easy”, this could spell the end of Ebola.

It would work for a little while. The Virus would quickly mutate a way around it . A Virus is the King of evolution. It pumps out thousands of copies making it difficult to come up with anything that will stop it . The good news is that a virus tends to change into a non lethal version. It can’t spread if it kills its host.

It won’t be long before creative AI will simply model every possible protein structure on the surface of a virus and find which ones bond to it. This is the essence of how antibodies work being proteins themselves. You could use synthetic peptoids that have the same receptors as the antibody proteins with the benefit that peptoids can be sequenced by machines and CRISPR like technology but for peptoids not DNA.

The other way would be to sequence every antibody from the blood of a survivor down to the individual RNA code and have AI then run every possible protein structure combination vs the target virus it should in due time find antibodies just like this one. Then take the RNA instructions for it to say a E.Coil via gene editing and mass produce it in tanks. You could just as easy use pig or human cell culture lines but E.Coli is easy to culture and edit.
