I went to a wrestling match the other day and a NASCAR race broke out.

When I was really young, preteen, we were visiting my cousins in Bradford, PA. Often when we visited, they took us to a dirt track to watch stock car races. One race in particular, right at the end of one of the heats, a driver gets out of his car, goes to another, drags the driver right out of the window, and proceeds to start pounding him until a bunch of folks pulled them apart.

Some years later, my father and I were watching a NASCAR race on TV and they were interviewing one of the racers, Buddy Baker. Dad asks me if I remember him, I didn't. He then tells me I should because he was the guy we watched drag the other racer out of his car years back. LOL

Back in the good old days we were reviewing game films of our previous football game and one of our players had gotten into fight on the field.

The first thing he did before laying into the other player was he took his helmet off and threw it on the ground in anger.

Our coaches payed that scene over in over - in forward in reverse and chewed out the poor guy.

Their critique - first, when you start a fight in a football game, only an idiot takes his helmet off first. Second, it you are stupid enough to take off your helmet before a fight, never throw it ground and at least be smart enough to use it as a weapon to beat on the other guy.. The good old days......

As an FYI, this is a lower-level series that races at a track sanctioned by NASCAR. They race there weekly.

In fact, this wasn’t even the highest division that races there.

Bowman Gray Stadium is famous for this type of thing. Tons of youtube videos just like this. The lower the division, the more it happens.
