A Florida woman was busted for allegedly holding two boys at gunpoint and repeatedly threatening to “blow their heads off” in a maniacal uproar after she found the teens fishing in a pond near her backyard.
Donna Elkins, 59, was arrested Friday after she brandished a long black pellet gun and ordered the 13- and 15-year-olds to the ground while telling police on the phone she had “petrified them,” “stopped them” and had them “laying on the ground” of her Melbourne yard, according to Fox 13 and one victim’s family.
“She said she was going to blow our brains out and that if we didn’t listen to her, she would shoot – that she was going to blow our heads off,” eighth-grader Brayden, 15, told the outlet of the terrifying incident.

Do we really need to speak ghetto to get our point across?
Some jail therapy may also be helpful.
Fine trespass or wonder onto.
Possibly more to this story, one would think. A 15-year old eighth grader? His mother posting online that he’s a “sweet boy”, and referring to him as a “child”? Quite a few rather snotty young folks running around these days, and I can see someone reaching their limit. Ten bucks says this was not their first ‘encounter’, and that the sweet children had previously traipsed across her property and caused some kind of damage. (Note: I am speaking from the experience of an actual, 13-year old, eighth grader who was once shot at —a shotgun at long range— for trespassing. “Get the Hell off my property!”, then BOOM. One more shot was added as we high-tailed it out of there. The story was shared with my friend’s father, who simply responded “Well, don’t trespass and you won’t have that kind of problem!” We could only agree.)
That’s as much a law of physics!
Looks like a man.
The right move is to call law enforcement and let them handle it.
“Perhaps she “identifies” as a game warden...”
Well, she’s identifying as inmate # 4854838 now.
She’s charged with False Imprisonment...bad JUJU...that’s what finally got OJ put in prison.....
And yet, some still dare to call this a free country.
True, dat. But look a little closer, and we see that the cray-cray in this character apparently goes deeper:
"she found the teens fishing in a pond near her backyard."
[Coo-coo! Coo-coo! Coo-coo! "Ten-o'clock!" Coo-coo!]
The worst is when city/suburban people move to the country.
FOR EXAMPLE, the 55 acre property next to mine sold last spring. A new young couple with a couple kids bought it.
I asked and he initially granted permission to continue hunting on his property. Which I have been for 14 years. In fact I have a tree stand literally on a tree two feet from the line on the back corner of my lot. A couple weeks ago he put up POSTED NO HUNTING/TRESPASSING signs every 50’ along our border and all along the road of his land.
The two deer I have shot in the last two years were both just over the border onto his land.
Maybe he will allow bow hunting. My dad had the last house on a cul de sac and would allow the local white tail society to park and hunt in our yard that backed up to a huge parkland property.
Exactly.
If it was her pond, then I am on the side of the homeowner. The theatrics might be necessary if the boys were a repeat nuisance.
They weren't on her property.
From the article: "...fishing on a peninsula near a pond located roughly 30 feet from the gun-toting lunatic’s property line.."
The person guarding the meth lab guard shouldn’t be using the product.
OJ also had an armed robbery charge, and the incident was in Las Vegas against visitors in a hotel room — which implicated the safety of the tourist trade.
I suspect he would because that was the question he asked me originally. If I was hunting with a bow or gun.
Which I have not done in 40 years.
The major change is that you can now hunt with a crossbow during archery season.
The thing is that there are more deer in southern NH now than there has been in the previous 50 years according to North Woods Law(NH Fish & Game). So much so that they keep extending the days where you can harvest either sex deer.
Plus granting additional tags to people who want to harvest more than one deer per season.
The deer population is especially large in the SE corner of the state abutting MA and the Atlantic Ocean. This is because in most of these towns housing has been developed the most in the state. However, in many of these towns houses are on 1-3 acre lots. So, there is a lot of land/woods in between the houses. Yet, they are too close to hunt with a firearm. Where you need to be 300’ from any residence not your own.
Case in point I had a herd of 15 deer walk through my front yard about a month ago when there was still 2’ of snow pack.
