When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

I don’t know what Poilievre said about the tariffs or when he said it. Some Canadians who didn’t have much of an opinion about PDJT in the beginning, formed a negative one over the 51st state comments. Other Canadians who started with a negative opinion ratcheted it up. Both expressed concern over the potential loss of our sovereignty. The tariffs have never been mentioned to me as a reason for voting against Poilievre.
I had always intended to vote for Poilievre and there was next to nothing he could say that would have changed that because the Liberals were an untenable alternative no matter what happened with the tariffs. Both Carney and Poilievre were going to be forced to come to the Trump table to create a new trade agreement. Anyone who thinks one leader had more ability to make a good deal for Canada doesn’t know President Trump.

Regarding the frequency chart - the response to dropping frequency like that is to shed load to arrest the decay in frequency. Raising generation also will correct the situation, but it takes considerably longer to bring generation on line and ramp it up compared to just dropping customer load. Also, that assumes that additional resources are readily available, which is generally a requirement of utilities. Anyway, dropping customer load is our primary remedy to avoid just the situation that Europe almost experienced.
When the generation matches customer demand, the frequency will be at exactly 60 hz (50 in Europe), but if generation is deficient, frequency will drop. Judging from the chart, the deficiency came on fairly quickly, it wasn’t a gradual thing. That usually means a sudden loss of generating resources.
We in the utility industry drill on these types of events every year to make danged sure that everyone in a position of responsibility knows the dynamics of a frequency decay situation.
A couple of years back, 2 days before Christmas, TVA was forced to shed firm customer load due to being a generation deficient entity - numerous units had tripped off line and/or would not start due to extremely cold weather and some extreme winds that swept across the region overnight. It was the first time in TVA’s history. Had TVA not acted as they did, the frequency of the entire eastern portion of the US would have began decaying. The frequency drop in that case was not severe because TVA did what was necessary to balance available resources with customer demand - that’s now you keep the frequency in its normal range.

Thorium is highly radioactive. It's a potential fuel source for nuclear-fission reactors, but I have not seen any projects underway to accomplish this. Perhaps China is working on it.
Uranium is a separate element in the 15 actinides composing the bottom row of the Periodic Table.
Thorium is not used to make uranium. No other element is used to make uranium.
The methods of "enriching" mined uranium ore to produce fissionable isotopes for fueling reactors [and weapons] are explained in The Manhattan Project history.
Thorium itself is not a nuclear fuel, since it can't initiate a self-sustaining chain reaction on its own, unlike "enriched" U-235.
Th-232, the only naturally occurring isotope of thorium, is considered "fertile" for fission, but needs a driver, like uranium or plutonium, to trigger & maintain a chain reaction.

I told my 27 year old son that if he sold or gave away my parent’s grandfather floor clock that I would haunt him for the rest of his life. There are brass plates with my parents names and the year they bought. I had one made with me and my wife’s name and when we inherited it.
I don’t honestly care about the rest. My wife has some nice antiques. They’ll probably sell them.
