An ex-con with a lengthy rap sheet was arrested for a brutal assault on a bride-to-be at her bachelorette party in Dallas which left the young woman with a broken nose, three broken teeth and a facial injury.
Trevon Woodards was taken into custody Friday in connection with the March 22 attack on Canada Rinaldi just four weeks before her wedding.
It’s unclear why Woodards, 27, who was recently granted parole and has a lengthy rap sheet, allegedly began punching Rinaldi, also 27 — leaving her unconscious with serious injuries and needing eight stitches on her face, Fox 4 reported.
“‘I just didn’t deserve it,” Rinaldi told WFAA. “It’s just shocking, it’ just hard to believe.”
Police have not publicly discussed a motive for the attack.
“On the night of Saturday, March 22, our beautiful friend was celebrating her bachelorette party — what should have been one of the happiest nights of her life,” her friends wrote in a GoFundMe to help Rinaldi defray some of the $10,000 in medical bills she’s incurred since the incident.

There was a story a few years back about a preacher somewhere who welcomed an ex-con into his congregation; preacher’s daughter fell in love with him, they got married, and a few years (or months, maybe) later he murdered her.
Why was Trevon Woodards at a bachelorette party? I thought that was for the ladies.
No need to look...
Former boyfriend?
This interracial marriage is off to a rocky start.
I don’t understand women. A felon just out on parole with a lengthy rap sheet. Was she corresponding with the perp in prison?
Reading the summary, I thought it was abundantly clear why the gentleman behaved as he did: He's not dead yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if some locals corrected that situation once and for all.
13/52.
Stranger attack. You know, random. Outside a bar.
People keep blaming this poor woman for keeping company with this guy...but she never did.
Random attack. She was guilty of being alive while white.
Yogi?
Yes Boo!
Again!
Thanks. I connected two dots not connectable.
So the felon just showed up there and beat her. I guess he’s going back to prison.
Crazy street guy I’m guessing
I wondered the same. What was he doing at a ‘bachelorette’ party?
Yes..a man...

“”what should have been one of the happiest nights of her life””
Definitely a horrible ordeal but I hope the bride’s friends don’t believe that party will be a highlight of her life or I hope the bride doesn’t consider it to be. A party?
Doubtful he goes back. They have to win this one. She should have been smarter. This is the new normal in cities.
