They are simply trying to reduce the bloated staff of the VA back to 2019 levels.

Depends on what they were doing to earn their pay and benefits.

I'm on board with many of DOGE's recommendations, however not cutting the VA.

The VA needs fixing, but med services for our Vets are so critical.

Take money from DoED and give it to our Vets!

Well, that depends. The French bitch of a doctor that barely spoke English and told me that if you have a symptom that lasts all year then that is only one occurrence and only having something once a year isnt anything of importance enough to help with?

Her?

Ya, sure. Ill be happy to chuck her out the door.

The VA needs to remove WOKE and DEI.

They also need yo restructure their management lines of authority. Right now they are horizontal and all chaos. Their is minimal hierarchy.

Paying people to occupy desks at the VA is not necessarily giving money to us vets. Not by a long shot

The VA needs fixing, but med services for our Vets are so critical.

The VA should become a third-party administrator, you use their "insurance" and you can go to a clinic or any hospital you want.

The VA is functioning like the NHS which is crap.

They need to stop hiring psychologists from the federal prison system where the relationship is adversarial with patients. They are carrying that into the military environment.

Why not just give the VA budget directly to the Vets as a voucher. Let them pick their own doctor, hospital, etc. The VA as currently constituted is a boondoggle of political patronage for rank & file nonmedical employees and as many Vets tell me mediocre medical care.

I would prefer they cut every freeloading, bottom feeding Feral “judge” in the worthless ass “judicial system” and the system be dissolved. It’s loaded with thieving America haters, many of whom are foreign thieves and murderers.

From Government Executive:

https://www.govexec.com/workforce/2023/11/va-attributes-record-breaking-year-massive-increases-hiring/391791/

“ The Veterans Health Administration hired 61,000 new employees in fiscal 2023, said Shereef Elnahal, VA’s undersecretary for health, outpacing its goal by 17% and giving it a workforce of more than 400,000 for the first time. It grew its workforce by more than 7%, its fastest rate in 15 years. The Veterans Benefits Administration increased its rolls by more than 20%, said Joshua Jacobs, VA’s undersecretary for benefits, to more than 32,000 employees.”

I support it 100%

We need audit every inch of government, regardless of their title or department. We got suckered by the corrupt who hijacked government, the kings of kickback, the disciples of deceit...I want the money back from this epic shakedown of the taxpayers.
