A new study published in PLOS One found that men and women misjudge what the opposite sex finds attractive. A research team in the United Kingdom asked 144 people — with an average age of 22 — to adjust a 3D model of a man’s or a woman’s face to match their appearance to find out what they believed the other gender finds the most attractive for both short- and long-term relationships.
Sharp, bold features like chiseled jawlines are often described as more masculine, while soft, delicate features like full lips are characterized as more feminine — and everyone’s rushing to plastic surgeons to achieve that look.
“We have demonstrated a substantial misperception of what men and women predict the opposite sex to desire in terms of sexual dimorphism of face shape,” the study authors concluded.

I’ve noticed that with every before and after picture, the before picture is always far, far better.
Some really pretty girls and good looking men absolutely ruined their looks with augmentation.
And the image on the left looks much younger.
This is a NEW study? How much USAID money went to fund this?
Only if they are real. Fake big is not attractive. I’d take small and real over big and fake every time.
(Some) men incorrectly assume that, just because they find female genitalia appealing, that women find male genitalia appealing.

Compared to how she looked before all of her plastic surger, Dana is a beauty queen now.
It never changes for young adults: Men want sex, women want security, everything else is really secondary no matter what they say.
