Musk stunned as dozens of DOGE staff suddenly QUIT with scathing letter... as eye-watering new savings figure is revealed

DOGE workers are revolting against Elon Musk and Donald Trump by signing a dramatic resignation letter vowing not to defund 'public services.'

'We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations,' 21 former DOGE staffers wrote in a letter first reported on by AP.

These ex-DOGE workers, who are not part of Musk's personally hired nerd army, said that they refuse to 'dismantle critical public services' being slashed.

All of the now-resigned workers were a part of the U.S. Digital Service (USDS), the small government department of roughly 100 workers that Musk turned into DOGE.

Since the billionaire's takeover of the department, DOGE has fired 40 of those workers.

In the last month, DOGE has rampaged through many federal agencies demanding access to sensitive data, sit-down performance reviews with agency employees and, most recently, email receipts of what federal employees achieve in any given week.

'Several of these interviewers refused to identify themselves, asked questions about political loyalty, attempted to pit colleagues against each other, and demonstrated limited technical ability,' the staffers revealed in their letter, seemingly slamming the DOGE workers who quizzed them as hostile.

'This process created significant security risks,' they wrote.

But DOGE Spokeswoman Katie Miller posted on X that the workers who signed the letters 'were full remote workers who hung Trans flags from their workplaces.'

You call rats jumping off a ship a non story?

The "ship" is the Federal Government. The rats of jumping off the ship in a lot greater numbers in other agencies.

They were part of the Digital Service Department set up by Obama that Trump converted to DOGE. So these are not Elon’s people, they are entrenched government bureaucrats.

This is fake news. These were Biden holdovers.

AP claims 20+ civil service employees are quitting DOGE because they “refuse to dismantle public services.”

Elon: “More fake news from Associated Propaganda. These were Dem political holdovers who refused to return to the office. They would have been fired had they not resigned.”

The resigning staffers had been part of what was originally the United States Digital Service, an office created during President Barack Obama’s administration in response to the failed launch of Healthcare.gov, the online portal for Americans enrolling in health insurance under his landmark health care law.

Many had previously held senior positions at major tech firms like Google and Amazon and had joined the government out of a commitment to public service.

That changed with Trump’s decision to empower Musk. The day after Trump’s inauguration, the staffers wrote, they were summoned to a series of interviews that previewed the opaque and disruptive operations of Musk’s DOGE.

The remaining 65 staffers were absorbed into DOGE’s government-cutting initiative, with nearly a third resigning together on Tuesday.

{lease, DOGE took over USDS. USDS was established by Obozo. In a great move by Trump admin, it was turned into DOGE. It is perfectly legal. The dopes the Daily Fail talk about were no longer needed and probably fired.

.."stunned ..."

Only stunned because Musk didn't think it would be this easy to find and remove the miscreants.

Obama/Biden legacy hires - I wonder how many of them are actual people, and how many are ghost payrollers? Now they won’t have to explain what they accomplished last week in that email to Musk.
